Saubert ZS1719 Surge Protection Socket with Digital Voltmeter

Real-Time Mains Voltage Monitoring and Surge Protection The Saubert ZS1719 is a single-outlet surge protection socket with an integrated digital voltage display. It is designed to help protect televisions, computers, modems, game consoles, satellite receivers and other sensitive electronic equipment against sudden transient overvoltages. The digital display shows the instantaneous mains voltage supplied to the socket. This allows users to monitor the incoming voltage directly from the product without requiring a separate measuring instrument. With a maximum surge suppression capacity of 250 joules, a response time of less than 10 nanoseconds, a maximum current rating of 16 A and a maximum connected load of 3850 W, the ZS1719 provides a practical solution for both voltage monitoring and surge protection. Digital Voltage Display The key feature of the Saubert ZS1719 is its integrated digital voltmeter. The display allows users to: Monitor the instantaneous mains voltage. View the voltage supplied to the connected equipment. Notice significant changes in the mains voltage. Perform basic voltage monitoring without a separate voltmeter. The display is provided for monitoring and information purposes. The ZS1719 is not an adjustable voltage protection relay that automatically disconnects the power supply during continuous undervoltage or overvoltage conditions. 250-Joule Surge Protection Switching operations, disturbances in the electrical installation and indirect lightning activity may create short-duration voltage surges in the mains supply. The internal surge protection system of the Saubert ZS1719 helps limit these transient voltage spikes before they reach the connected equipment. The product has a maximum surge suppression capacity of 250 joules and a maximum clamping voltage of 775 V. Response Time of Less Than 10 Nanoseconds The surge protection circuit has a response time of less than 10 nanoseconds. This rapid response helps the internal protection components react quickly to sudden short-duration voltage surges in the mains supply. Operating and Protection Status Monitoring The product includes status indicators that allow users to check whether the socket is receiving power and whether the surge protection system is active. If the protection indicator turns off, the socket may continue supplying power to the connected equipment, but the internal surge protection system may no longer be active. The product should then be replaced to restore surge protection. 16 A and 3850 W Maximum Capacity The Saubert ZS1719 has the following electrical ratings: Maximum current: 16 A Maximum voltage: 250 V Maximum connected load: 3850 W Nominal voltage: 220–240 V Nominal frequency: 50/60 Hz The connected equipment must not exceed the specified maximum current and power ratings. Child-Protected Outlet The built-in child protection mechanism helps restrict access to the electrical contacts and reduce the risk of accidental contact with foreign objects. This feature does not replace adult supervision or standard electrical safety precautions.
